This site is intended for those interested in keeping up with and learning about the planning process to determine the use of up to 14,000 annual acre-feet of water from the Gila and San Francisco rivers and/or funding of $66 million up to a possible $128, if projects are planned.
Posted on the site will be:
• Minutes of the Gila/San Francisco Water Commission, the Gila Basin Irrigation Commission, the Stakeholders Group, the Implementation Committee and the Technical Committee;
• Press releases of upcoming meetings;
•Links to other sites with more information;
•Presentations; and
•Articles appearing in the Silver City Daily Press and other newspapers.
